AAI organising 1-day seminar for engineers on June 12

Guwahati: Aviation sector is witnessing double-digit growth in the successive financial year as reports by global organisations suggest. Most of the airports in the country cater to the bulk of domestic passengers travelling through these airports and to cope up with the soaring demands of the aviation infrastructure, engineers serve as the backbone of expansion and new projects in the country.

Considering the similar scenario in North Eastern Airports, Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional HQ in Guwahati has come up with a seminar for the engineers posted at various airports in the region. The one-day seminar will be held on June 12 at Guwahati and will focus on various topics concerning infrastructural development, quality product manufacturing, latest building procedure etc. The seminar will be inaugurated by Sanjeev Jindal, Regional Executive Director, AAI North East Region, Guwahati in presence of JT Radhakrishna, General Manager (Project), GMs of other related departments and senior AAI officials.

The engineers at the seminar will discuss the latest building procedure, modern technologies that global agencies are practising, the expertise of external agencies, instruments used in NITB construction. Product manufacturers, suppliers, delivering agencies and similar stakeholders will also participate in the day-long seminar for engineers.
