ACC approves appointments in IIFCL, NHB, NABARD, SIDBI, IFCI and EXIM bank

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday has approved the proposal of the Department of Financial Services for the appointment of Padmanabhan Raja Jaishankar as Managing Director (MD) of India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL). He has been appointed on the post for a period of three years with effect from the date of his taking over charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is currently serving as Executive Director (ED), National Housing Bank (NHB).

Vasantharao Satya Venkata has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). His appointment has approved for a period of three years from the date of his taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is currently serving as Executive Director (ED) of IFCI Limited (Previously known as Industrial Finance Corporation of India).

The Committee further approved the proposal of the Department of Financial Services for the appointment of Sunil Kumar Bansal as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of IFCI Limited. Bansal has been appointed on the post for a period with effect from the date of his taking over charge of the post and till the date of his attaining the age of 60 years i.e. till September 12, 2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is currently serving as Chief General Manager (CGM) National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

The ACC has also approved the proposal of the Department of Financial Services for the appointment of Harsha Bangari as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) in Exim Bank. She has been appointed on the post for a period of three years, from the date of her taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She is currently serving as Chief General Manager (CGM) in Exim Bank.
