AK Gautam takes over as Director (Finance) of NTPC

New Delhi: Anil Kumar Gautam has taken charge as Director (Finance) of NTPC Limited, a Maharatna  PSU under the Ministry of Power, on Friday. Prior to his new appointment as Director (Finance), Gautam was serving as Executive Director in the same organisation. Gautam was recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on July 7, for the post of Director (Finance) of NTPC Limited. He was selected from a list of 10 candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel.

Gautam has over 34 years of experience in the power sector in the area of project construction accounting, corporate accounts, resource mobilization from domestic and international markets, long-term financial planning, investment appraisals, formulation of capital budgets and regulatory affairs.

Gautam is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and has also completed LLB.
