New Delhi: Arun Kumar Chaubey is set to be the next Director (Projects) of Telecommunications of India Limited (TCIL). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. He is currently serving as Deputy Director General in the same organisation.
Chaubey has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of TCIL from a list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on Friday. All the candidates who were on the list were from TCIL.
As Director (Technical) of TCIL, Chaubey will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for general administration, corporate planning, international business, market development and information systems and providing technical guidance to the company.
TCIL is a prime engineering and consultancy company. It is wholly owned by the government and comes under the administrative control of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications.
