Manish Kumar Vimal (ITS) appointed as Director in NITI Aayog

New Delhi: Manish Kumar Vimal (ITS) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the NITI Aayog. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Vimal has been selected for appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Vimal is an Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS) officer of 1998-batch. Presently, he is serving as Director (SR & Estates) in the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) under the Ministry of Communications. He was recommended for the Central deputation by DoT. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the NlTl Aayog, Delhi,” the order further reads.
