New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), headed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved the appointments of nine bureaucrats at Joint Secretary / Joint Secretary equivalent level on November 26. Here is the full list of officers.

Solomon Arokiaraj (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs under the Ministry of Finance. Arokiaraj is a 2000-batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Manoj Kumar Sahoo (IAS) has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner in the Election Commission of India (ECI). Sahoo is a 2006-batch IAS of AGMUT cadre. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of seven years up to December 16, 2023 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ankita Mishra Bundela (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary as the Department of Health & Family Welfare. Bundela is a 2001-batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge o n/f the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sanjeet (IRAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). Sanjeet is an Indian Railway Account Service officer of 1998-batch. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

M Janaki (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). Janaki is a 2005-batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre.  He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of seven years up to September 11, 2023, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Puneet Yadav (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sujata Sharma (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). Sharma is a 2006-batch IAS officer Andhra Pradesh cadre. He has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years up to December 2, 2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Varsha Sinha (CSS) has been appointed as Secretary in the Oil Industry Development Board under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sanjay Roy (IInfoS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Steel with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years up-to May 23, 2025.
