New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the appointment of Divyanshu Jha (IAS) as Under Secretary in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Jha has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of three years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Jha is a 2014-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Jharkhand cadre. He is currently as Managing Director of Jharkhand Silk Textile and Handicraft Development Corporation Ltd (JHARCRAFT). “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy,” the order further read.
