New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), headed by the Prime Minister, has approved the number of appointments/premature repatriations of officers at the Joint Secretary or Joint Secretary equivalent level. Here is the full list:

Vijaya Lakshmi Nadendla (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare in place of Vivek Aggarwal (IAS). She has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Nadendlan is a 1995-batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre.

Priya Ranjan (IFoS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare in place of Atish Chandra (IAS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Ranjan is an Indian Forest Service (IFoS) service officer of the Rajasthan cadre.

Pramod Kumar Meherda (IAS) has been appointed as Managing Director of the National Food Security Mission (NFSM) under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare with the additional charge of the post of Secretary of the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) in place of Neeraja Adidam (IFoS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Meherda is a 1997-batch IAS officer of the Odisha cadre.

Abhay Kumar Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation. He has been appointed to the post for a combined tenure of seven years up to August 30, 2022, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier against a newly created post. Kumar is a 2004-batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre.

Kavita Garg (IDAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of AYUSH in place of PN Ranjit Kumar (IPoS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Kavita Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat by temporarily upgrading the post of Director held by the officer, to be further adjustable against a regular vacancy of Joint Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat. She has been appointed to the post for an overall tenure of five years up to March 15, 2025, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Jain is a 2004-batch IAS officer of Punjab cadre.

Vibhu Nayar (IAS) has been appointed as Executive Director in the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) under the Department of Commerce in place of Rajesh Agarwal (IAS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure up to his superannuation on October 31, 2025, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Nayar is a 1990-batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.

Madnesh Kumar Mishra (IRS-IT) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture in place of Nirupama Kotru (IRS). He has been appointed to the post for a combined tenure of seven years up to May 31, 2023, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Mishra is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS IT) officer of 1990-batch.

Dinesh Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence under the Ministry of Defence in place of Nidhi Chhibber (IAS). He has been appointed to the post for an overall tenure of five years up to December 6, 2025, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Kumar is the 2004-batch IAS officer of Nagaland cadre.

Sanjay Kumar (IA&AS) has been appointed as Additional FA & Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence (Finance) in place of AN Das (IDAS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Kumar is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 1995-batch.

Vedveer Arya (IDAS) has been appointed as Additional FA & Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence (Finance) in place of Subir Mallick (IA&AS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Peeyush Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs in place of Sandhya Bhullar (IAS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Peeyush Kumar is a 1997-batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre.

Sreekanth T (IAS) has been appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner in the Election Commission of India (ECI). He has been appointed to the post for an overall tenure of five years up to June 25, 2023, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Sreekanth is a 2004-batch IAS officer of the Uttarakhand cadre.

Shailendra Singh (IFoS) has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG) in the UIDAI, HQ, New Delhi under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, in place of Laxmi P Rao Yarram (IFoS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Laxmi P Rao Yarram is a 1997-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of the Tripura cadre.

P Bhanumati (ISS) has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG) in the UIDAI, RO, New Delhi under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, in place of Pradeep Kumar (IFoS). She has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Bhanumati is an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer of 1996-batch.

Neelesh Kumar Sah (IA&AS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC), in place of Richa Sharma (IAS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Shah is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 1997-batch.

Neeraja Adidam (IFoS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers, in place of Partha Sarthi Sensharma (IAS). She has been appointed to the post for a combined tenure of seven years up to July 28, 2023, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Neeraja Adidam is an Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.

Partha Sarathi Das (IA&AS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Food & Public Distribution in place of EK Majhi (IAS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Partha Sarathi Das is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 1994-batch.

Vandana Jain (CSS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, in place of Sunil Sharma (IRPS). She has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Vandana is a Central Secretariat Service (CSS) officer.

The government has approved the premature repatriation of Rekha Shukla (IRS IT), Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare.

V Hekali Zhimomi (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare in place of Rekha Shukla (IRS). She has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Purnendu Kishore Banerjee (ISS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, in place of Sanjay Kumar Sinha (IFoS). He has been appointed to the post for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Banerjee is an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer of 1993-batch.

CG Rajini Kaanthan (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, in place of Satyendra Garg (IPS). He has been appointed to the post for an overall tenure of five years up to November 8, 2021, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, which is further extendable for additional two years on availability of cadre clearance, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Kaanthan is a 2004-batch IAS officer of the Haryana cadre.

Sreyashi Chaudhuri (CSS) has been appointed as an Advisor to National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of Sandeep Poundrik (IAS), for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Chaudhuri is a Central Secretariat Service (CSS) officer.

Kunal Satyarthi (IFoS) has been appointed as Advisor in the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of Ramesh K Ganta (IAS) for a combined tenure of seven years up to February 4, 2026, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Satyarthi is an Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of the 1997-batch.

Dhananjay Kumar (IDAS) has been appointed as Director (Finance), NSG-Cum-Financial Advisor in the CRPF under the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of Sanjeev Mishra (ICAS) for a combined tenure of seven years, i.e. up to July 31, 2024, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Roopa Mishra (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. She has been appointed to the post in place of Vinod Kumar Jindal for an overall tenure of five years up to February 2, 2025, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Pankaj Kumar Singh (IDAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Mercy Epao (CSS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). Srinivas Danda (IRS IT) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of SK Dev Verman (IAS) for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Danda is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 1992-batch.

KS Rejimon (ISS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the NITI Aayog. He has been appointed to the post in place of Jitendra Kumar (lFoS), for a tenure of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Rejimon is an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer.

Kundan Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Adviser in NITI Aayog. He has been appointed to the post in place of Parag Gupta (IAS), for a combined tenure of eight years up to February 3, 2023, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ajay Kumar Kanojia (CSS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) under the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT). He has been appointed to the post in place of Atul Singh (IPS) for a tenure up to his superannuation on June 6, 2026, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Radhika Rastogi (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Director in the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) under the Department of Personnel & Training. She has been appointed to the post in place of Manoj Ahuja (IAS), for an overall tenure of five years up to March 27, 2023, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Raghuraj Madhav Rajendran (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Power. He has been appointed to the post in place of Vivek Kumar Dewangan (IAS) for an overall tenure of five years up to November 30, 2022, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, which is further extendable for additional two years on availability of cadre clearance, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Karma Zimpa Bhutia (IFoS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Rural Development. He has been appointed to the post in place of Prashant Kumar (IFoS), for a combined tenure of seven years up to April 24, 2024, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Amit Kataria (IAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Rural Development. Tripti Gurha (IRTS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Women & Child Development. She has been appointed to the post in place of Aastha Saxena Khatwani (ICAS), upon Khatwani's premature repatriation from the post, for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Nitesh Kumar Mishra (ICAS) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Youth Affairs. He has been appointed to the post in place of Asit Singh (IRS), upon Singh's premature repatriation from the post, for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Govt approved the premature repatriation of Seema Sharma (IRTS), who is currently serving as CVO of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), to her parent cadre.

Further, Govt has also approved the premature repatriation of Nipun Vinayak (IAS), who is currently serving as Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, to his parent cadre.
