Dr Srinivas Hanumankar appointed as Member (HR) of AAI

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Dr Srinivas Hanumankar for the post of Member (Human Resources) of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), a PSU under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. According to an order issued on January 9 from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Dr Hanumankar has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e. November 30, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Hanumankar is an Indian Railways Personnel Service (IRPS) of Indian Railways. Presently, he is serving in Indian Railways. He was recommended for the post of Member (HR) of AAI by the PESB panel on July 28, 2022. He was selected for the post from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting.

As a Member (HR) of AAI, Dr Hanumankar shall be a Member of the Board of AAI and shall report to Chairman. He shall be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the organisation.
