GAIL seeks fresh investment proposals from start-ups under ‘PANKH’ initiative

New Delhi: Under its 'PANKH' scheme, state-run GAIL India Ltd has opened a fresh round for solicitation of investment proposals from start-ups operating in sectors like natural gas, petrochemicals, energy, project management, bio-manure marketing, nano-materials, IoT, data mining, environment, health and social. The start-ups that are interested in equity investment from GAIL can apply through the link 'GAIL PANKH' on GAIL's website https://gailonline.com. The solicitation round is open from March 30, 2021, to May 30, 2021, said GAIL in an official statement on Monday.

Further details of focus areas are available on the GAIL website under GAIL PANKH Section. In a bid to support start-ups operating in identified focus areas, GAIL (India) Limited had announced its plans to invest in such companies through its Start-Up initiative ' PANKH.' GAIL had launched its ambitious start-up initiative in July 2017 to invest in promising start-ups. So far, GAIL has made investments in 24 start-ups operating in various areas through four solicitation rounds.
