GRSE organises free health camp for contractors’ workmen

New Delhi/Kolkata: With the noble intent to address the health-related concerns of the contractors' workmen engaged in the company, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) had started a new project- free health camps for 2,500 contractors' workmen at the main unit on November 18, 2020.

On December 1, 2020, GRSE's Director (Personnel) Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd.) inaugurated the health check-up camp for contractors' workmen at 61 Park Unit of GRSE in the presence of Chief General Manager (Design) Cmde Rajiv Sreedharan, IN (Retd.); General Manager (ER&A) AK Mahapatro, General Manager (SS & RP, Services & BB) DIG Subrato Ghosh; General Manager (CP & CC) Captain P Sunil Kumar, IN (Retd.); General Manager (HRM) S Srinivas as well as General Manager of Medinova Diagnostic Services Barnali Dey and other employees of GRSE. The camps will be held subsequently in the other three units of GRSE. More than 2,500 contractors' workmen will be benefited by this corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The Swachhta Pakhwada was started with administering of Swachhta Shapath by Director (Personnel), to the employees of 61 Park unit on December 1, while administering the Swachhta Shapath, Director (Personnel) urged the employees to make cleanliness and hygiene an integral part of their daily life.
