Here is the list of newly appointed CVOs in six PSUs

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of number of officers as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in various PSUs

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of a numbers of officers as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) in the various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). Here the list of newly appointed CVOs: 

1. Venkata Nagi Reddy Kovvuri (IDES) has been appointed as CVO of RINL-VSP. According to a DoPT order issued on September 18, he has been appointed to the post for a combined period of seven years, or up to August 30, 2022, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Reddy is an Indian Defence Estates Service (IDES) officer 1998-batch. He is currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Commerce. He is an engineering graduate (BE) from Hindustan College of Engineering of Madras University Chennai. He also completed a PG diploma from Visakhapatnam Maritime Educational Society Visakhapatnam.

2. Simmi R Nakara (IP&TAFS) has been appointed as CVO of Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited. She has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She is an Indian Post & Telecommunication Accounts and Finance ((IP&TAFS) officer of 1994-batch.

3. Shalini Darbari (IRAS) has been appointed as CVO of NBCC (India) Limited. She has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Darbari is an Indian Railways Account Service (IRAS) officer of 1990-batch. She is currently serving as Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer at Northern Railway's headquarters.

4. Vineet Pandey (IRSEE) has been appointed as CVO of Steel Authority of India (SAIL). He has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is an Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) officer 1994-batch. He is currently holding the post of Joint Secretary in the central government.

5. Ashwini Kumar Tiwari (IDAS) has been appointed as CVO of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL). He has been appointed to the post for a period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Tiwari is an Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) officer of 1994-batch. He is currently serving as Integrated Financial Advisor at Southern Command Headquarters, Pune. 

6. Amal Garg (IRS) appointed as CVO of the Airports Authority of India (AAI). He has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Garg is an Indian Revenue Service Officer (IRS, IT) of 1995-batch. He is currently serving as Commissioner at the (IRS) Income Tax Department.

In an order issued on the same day, ACC has also approved the appointment of Amitabh Gautam (IFoS) as CVO of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). He has been appointed to the post for a period of a combined period of seven years i.e. up to July 5, 2022, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
