IRCON bags 5 awards at ’12th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards’

New Delhi: Ircon International Limited (IRCON), a leading turnkey construction company under the Ministry of Railways, has received five awards at '12th CIDC Vishwakarma Awards 2021.' The awards were presented to IRCON's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Dr SK Chaudhary in an award ceremony held in New Delhi recently. IRCON has bagged the CIDC Vishwakarma Awards in these five categories:-

1: Achievement Award for Industry Doyen (To CMD) 
2: Achievement Award for Best Professionally Managed Company 
3: Achievement Award for Best Construction Projects – Mathura-Kasganj project
4: Award for Corona Warriors
5: Partners in progress trophy

CIDC (Construction Industry Development Council), set up jointly by the Planning Commission and the Indian construction Industry, undertakes a wide range of activities to benefit the construction industry. This includes conducting training at various levels, organising workshops and conferences, publishing journals and newsletters, welfare programmes for construction workers, grading, placement and so on.

Earlier in February, Team IRCON, led by Chaudhary, had won six awards in the ET Now's World Leadership Congress & Awards. These awards were given to IRCON, for its diligent efforts towards becoming an international organisation of global reputation in the construction, service and infrastructure sector.
