New Delhi: The turnover of IREL (India) Limited, a PSU under the aegis of the Department of Atomic Energy, has increased more than three folds over the last five years. The PSU has also received an 'Excellent' MoU rating for the last three consecutive years. Operating in a strategic and niche sector, the demand for IREL's products are on the rise to meet the demand of the aspiring generation. Further, the government has also set up ambitious plans towards e-mobility, green energy, etc to reduce carbon footprint.

In order to improve the performance of the units and meet the rising demand for IREL's products, the company organised a contemplation camp (Chintan Shivir) on November 12. Top executives of the company deliberated on innovative ideas to meet the future demand forecast in front of IREL's top management. These ideas were prioritised based on approach, timelines and an action plan were drawn to meet the target prescribed by the government.

Speaking on the occasion, IREL (India) Limited's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) D Singh stated that the deliberations of the contemplation camp were noteworthy and it would be fruitful to hold similar camps at regular intervals for developing new ideas for the overall progress of the company.
