NHSRCL on Monday announced that the joint venture of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder for its Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train's (MAHSR project) PMC contract

New Delhi: The financial bids for the work ‘Project Management Consultancy Services for the construction of civil works packages for Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) Project’ (also called Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train's PMC contract) were opened on Monday, NHSRCL said in an official statement. The project includes supervision of all 13 civil works packages including viaducts, concrete or steel bridges, tunnels (undersea & mountain tunnels), civil work of all 12 stations, maintenance depots, and training institute building.

Joint Venture of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCEL), Consulting Engineers Group Ltd., Aarvee Associates Architects Engineers & Consultants Private Limited, PADECO Co. Ltd. has quoted the lowest bid for an amount of Rs 1,111 crore and the tenure of the contract is 96 months. This technically means that the JV will finally get the LOA of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train PMC contract from NHSRCL.

The consortium of Nippon Koei Co. Ltd., Oriental Consultants Global Co. Ltd., RITES Ltd. Consortium and Joint Venture of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCEL), Consulting Engineers Group Ltd., Aarvee Associates Architects Engineers & Consultants Private Limited, PADECO Co. Ltd. were the two bidders to qualified in the technical bid evaluation, NHSRCL had announced last week.
