MNRE picks REC GM for Director (Finance) post at IREDA

New Delhi: A Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has picked Bijay Kr Mohanty for the position of Director (Finance) at IREDA, said an official notification on Monday. "ScSC recommended the following name for the post of Director (Finance), Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency: Sh Bijay Kr Mohanty, Sr GM (F&A), REC Ltd, Gurugram," it said.

The committee picked Mohanty from a list of four shortlisted candidates after an interview. The following applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting — Ajay Mathur, Chief GM, REC Ltd, Gurugram, Dr Ramesh Chandra Sharma, GM (F&A) & CFO, IREDA Ltd,New Delhi, Bijay Kr Mohanty, Sr GM (F&A), REC Ltd, Gurugram, Surendra Kr Sharma, AGM & Head (F), BHEL, Haridwar.

IREDA is a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). It was established as a non-banking financial institution in 1987. IREDA engaged in promoting, developing and extending financial assistance for setting up projects relating to new and renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency and conservation.
