Faridabad: NHPC Limited, India's premier hydropower company in association with Apollo Hospital Delhi organised a free medical camp at Dhauj Village of Faridabad on Thursday under its CSR-SD scheme. NHPC Limited's Chief General Manager (Medical Services) Dr Kamla Fartyal, Senior DCMO Dr Rakesh Ranjan, Senior DCMO Dr Meena Prasad, ACMO Dr Pawan Kumar and paramedical staff from NHPC, Dr Parikshit from Rural Primary Health Centre, Dhauj and doctors from Apollo Hospital were present on the occasion. A team from Centre for Sight, Faridabad and TB specialist Dr Yogesh, Eye specialist Dr Nidhi from BK Civil Hospital of Faridabad were also present on the occasion.

The camp was highly successful and more than 840 persons from the nearby areas availed the free medical consultation. During the camp free medical consultation was given on heart disease, gynaecology, ENT, paediatrics, eye, orthopaedics etc. and blood sugar, blood pressure, ECG, BMD etc. tests were conducted and necessary medicines were also provided as per the requirement. During the camp, patients also underwent eye examination, out of whom 128 patients were provided spectacles free of cost.
