New Delhi: To give those who specialise in human resource (HR) management a taste of managing the media, former General Manager (PR) at Airports Authority of India (AAI) delivered a lecture to a group of HR executives of POWERGRID at POWERGRID Academy of Leadership (PAL). The theme of the lecture was "Organisation a wheel of synergy- PR through HR." Bawa made an interesting presentation on the various facets of synergy between HR and Corporate Communication Management for overall personality development and synergetic application of human capital in organisation building.

Naresh Kumar, GM (CC), POWERGRID, also gave a talk on Corporate Communication. JP SHARMA, former DGM (PR), NTPC was also present during the session and facilitated the conduct of the group exercise. The enthusiasm among the young HR Executives clearly demonstrated their zeal to get involved in organisation building exercise and papers presented by both groups as part of the group exercise were excellent in terms of content, presentation, slogans and punch lines.

This is the first Lecture of a series of lectures to be undertaken by Public Relation Society of India, Delhi Chapter, with a view to share the knowledge in Communication Management and various fields and contributing their bit in building New India through the youth of the nation. PRSI is a non-profit organisation of PR and Media professionals engaged in the task of promoting the recognition of public relations as a profession and to formulate and interpret to the public the objectives and the potentialities of public relations as a strategic management function.
