RCF Recruitment 2020: Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF), a Miniratna PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, has released a job notification for the post of Director (Technical). Eligible candidates can apply for the job before August 24. The post will fall vacant on June 1, 2021.

Director (Technical) is a member of the board of directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He acts as head of the Technical/Operations division of the company. His/her responsibilities include the exercise of control over the efficient operation of the plants of the company in a manner which would ensure optimum utilization of resources. He also acts as principal adviser of the company in all technical and operations matters.

Pay scale: Rs 1,80,000/- 3,20,000/- (IDA)

Age Limit: Minimum age limit 45 years and age of superannuation 60 years

Employment status

The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:-

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);
(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;
(c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 2000 crore or more;
(d) The private sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 2000 crore or more.
Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.

(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Qualification

The applicant should be an engineering graduate preferably in Chemical Engineering with a good academic record from a recognised university or institution.
Applicants holding an MBA or postgraduate diploma in management will have an added advantage.

Experience:

The applicant should possess adequate technical or operational experience at a senior level of management in a large organisation of repute, out of which at least five years during the last ten years should have been in major production units in Fertilizers or Chemicals or Petrochemicals Sector.
