New Delhi: An exhibition-cum-outreach program 'Sauhard 2.0' was organised by SJVN Limited at its corporate headquarters in Shimla. SJVN Limited's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Nand Lal Sharma initiated an innovative concept – My Social Responsibility (MSR), for reaching out to the marginalised section of the society. Under MSR, 'Sauhard 2.0' an exhibition cum outreach program, aims at distribution of items voluntarily donated by employees of SJVN to the low-income outsourced workers deployed by various contractors in SJVN.

In the challenging circumstances arisen due to COVID-19, Sharma distributed these items through Lucky Draw in the presence of SJVN Limited's Director (Electrical) RK Bansal, Director (Personnel) Geeta Kapur, Director (Civil) SP Bansal, Director (Finance) AK Singh and other senior officers of SJVN Limited. More than 200 mementoes donated by employees were displayed in an exhibition at the Multipurpose Hall, Shakti Sadan, SJVN Corporate Headquarters, Shimla. Adhering to norms of social distancing, floor wise timeslots were allotted to the employees to visit the exhibition.

Earlier, in the month of December 2019, Sauhard 1.0 was organised under My Social Responsibility (MSR) wherein more than 140 mementoes received by CMD on various occasions from outside agencies, organizations and groups were donated.
