SBI invites job applications for more than 3,800 vacancies; apply online

SBI Recruitment 2020: State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications for the post of Circle Based Officers (CBO). Eligible candidates can apply online before August 16. This information has been shared by the public lender in a tweet on Friday.

Vacancy details 

"Eligible candidates, who aspire to join State Bank of India as an officer, are required to register on-line after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the selection process, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee, issuance of call letters etc. and ensure that they fulfil the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes," said an official notification.

Qualifications: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as an officer in any scheduled commercial bank or any regional rural bank.

Age Limit: Not above 30 years as on August 1, 2020, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1990.

Selection Process

The candidates will have to apply for the vacancy of one state only. A candidate applying against the vacancy of one state will not be eligible to apply against the vacancy of any other state.

Candidature of the applicant will be considered only against the vacancies in the state for which he/ she has applied/ opted. Merit list will be drawn state wise, category wise.

Application fee

For SC/ ST/ PWD category: No fee 
For General/ EWS/ OBC category: Rs 750
