BECIL Recruitment 2020: Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL), a Miniratna PSU under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, has invited applications for various posts under recruitment 2020. Candidates who are interested and eligible for these jobs can apply before January 11.

Job Details: Skilled and unskilled employees purely on contract basis (Job oriented skill development training programme)

No of Vacancies: 4,000 posts (recruitment may increase or decrease as per requirement)

Maximum Age: 45 years

Pay scale: Rs 6,000/- 15,000/-

Application fee General/OBC: Rs 500/- SC/ST/PH: Rs 250/- (Candidates who are applying online can pay their exam fee by NEFT or RTGC in favour of BECIL and the given account number in the official advertisement)

Educational qualifications For skilled employees: Candidates who have ITI certificate in the electrical trade or wiremen as recognised by NCVT or SCVT or higher technical degree, diploma in engineering and those who possess an overhead certificate of electrical safety, along with minimum two-year experience in electric work, can apply for these jobs. Candidates must have good knowledge of reading and writing of Hindi and English.

For unskilled employees: Candidates who have passed Class 8 from any state education board or equivalent institution, along with one year experience preferably in the electric system, can apply for these jobs. Candidates should have knowledge of reading and writing of Hindi, and reading knowledge of English. The candidates shall be provided training for Job role-specific for a total period of 30 days, divided into two parts: (i) In house training for 15 days (ii) On-site training for 15 days

Selection process

The candidates will be selected for training based as per their merit list as under:- a) The candidates who secure at least 90% marks will be eligible for free training

b) The candidates who secure at least 80% marks will be eligible for paid training at a training cost Rs 6,000

c) The candidates who secure at least 60% marks will be eligible for paid training at a training cost Rs 11,000

d) The candidates who secure at least 40% marks will be eligible for paid training at a training cost Rs 15,000 with a stipend of 15 days during onsite training.
