AAI associates to participate in international competitions

Airport Authority of India (AAI) Guwahati associates to participate in Master Athletics Meet & Mr Universe competition 2019, which are going to be held at Malaysia & Thailand
Guwahati: It is a proud moment for Airports Authority of India (AAI) at Guwahati as Anima Sanowal who is the wife of AAI's Senior Superintendent (AAI Fire Services, Guwahati) Sandeswar Sanowal is participating in Master Athletics Meet, 2019 which is to be held at Malaysia. Anima will participate in different field events like high jump, race and poltvolt. A felicitation function was held at AAI’s regional headquarter, Guwahati on Thursday where AAI's Regional Executive Director Sanjeev Jindal felicitated her and wished for a great success at Malaysia. Family members of Anima were also present on the occasion. Another associate, Bhaskar Barua, who is one of contractual manpower posted at AAI Guwahati will participate in Universe competition to be held at Thailand in December 2019. He was also felicitated by Jindal on the occasion. In his message, Jindal said that It’s a proud moment for Airports Authority of India that two of our associates among which are women, are participating in Global event and I am hopeful that they will bring some awards for our country. I wish them all the best for their competitions. Members of Kalyanmayee (Northeast region), which is the Women Welfare wing of Airports Authority of India and members of Regional Sports Control Board, AAI Guwahati were also present in the felicitation ceremony.
