New Delhi: Airports Authority of India (AAI) has entered into an agreement with Pebbles Infra-Tech Private Ltd for development of multi-level car parking with integrated commercial facilities on DBOM Basis (construction-cum-licence to operate and maintain) at Pune Airport in Maharashtra on blended financing mode. Currently, Pune airport handles more than 6.7 million passengers annually. The proposed MLCP will be of international standards with integrated commercial facilities and shall cover an area of 2.5 acres approximately. It will provide parking facilities for 1,000 ECS in line with the proposed expansion of the terminal building with a handling capacity of 12-13 million. The MLCP is scheduled to be operational in 24 months.

The agreement was signed by SD Tiwari, Joint GM (Business Development) with the Developer in the presence of S Suresh, Member (Finance), Anil Gupta, ED (Land Management & Business Development, Chandra Shekhar, DGM (BD) and other officials of AAI, Pebbles Infra-Tech Private Ltd and DIMTS, the transaction advisor of AAI.
