Srinagar: (AAI CSR News) The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has been taking various initiatives under its CSR Umbrella in the field of education, nutrition, community development, environment, relief, and rehabilitation sector with a special emphasis on the health sector. AAI's Srinagar International Airport recently donated two critical care ambulances equipped with a basic life support system to the Medical Department of Budgam District to help improve the medical facility of the state.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam in presence of the Airport Director, Srinagar Airport flagged -off two critical care ambulances worth Rs 76 Lakhs which will be utilized at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora and Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Magam respectively for emergency and referral patient care.

Speaking at the flagging-off program, DC Budgam appreciated the various initiatives undertaken by AAI under its CSR project and thanked AAI for all its support. Mentioning that such a gesture would go a long way in building trust and confidence in the people of the region, he hoped that the same support would be rendered by AAI even in the days to come.

AAI as a socially responsible enterprise has been taking a lead to serve society and is committed to enhancing the quality of life of people especially those people who reside in proximity to the airports.
