New Delhi: The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Abhinav Pratap Singh (IPoS) as Private Secretary to the Minister for Civil Aviation & Steel, Jyotiraditya M Scindia in the Ministry of Civil Aviation at the level of Deputy Secretary. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the ACC has approved his appointment following the curtailment in his tenure as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Singh is an Indian Postal Service (IPoS) service officer of the 2011 batch. He has been appointed as PS to Scindia for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or on a co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever event occurs the earliest.
