ACC appoints Arun Kumar as OSD to Narendra Singh Tomar

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Arun Kumar as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar

New Delhi: Arun Kumar, who is currently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Central Secretariat Service, has been appointed as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved his appointment to the post on Thursday evening.

According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Kumar has been appointed to the post at the level of Deputy Secretary with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post and for a tenure of 1 year 5 months and 24 days (i.e. for a balance period of four years admissible tenure as OSO) or on the co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
