ACC appoints these Armed Forces Personnel at AS & JS level

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of the these four Armed Forces Personnel to the post of Additional Secretary & Joint Secretary level

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the appointments of the Indian Arm Forces Personnels to the post of Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary in the Department of Military Affairs. This is the first of this kind of promotion when the officers from armed forces have been promoted to Additional or Joint Secretary level in the Department of Military Affairs. Here is the list of officials:

Lt. General Anil Puri (AVSM, SM, VSM) has been appointed to the post of Additional Secretary in the Department of Military Affairs under the Ministry of Defence. He is currently posted as Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff.

Major General K Narayanan (SM) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Military Affairs. He is currently posted as Offg JS (Army).
