ACC approves one-year extension for Raghav Langer (IAS) as Secretary, National Medical Commission

Langer is a 2009-batch IAS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre and presently serving as Secretary at the National Medical Commission

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of central deputation tenure of Raghav Langer (IAS). Langer is a 2009-batch IAS officer from the Uttarakhand cadre and presently serving as Secretary at the National Medical Commission (NMC) at the Joint Secretary level under the Department of Health & Family Welfare.

According to a Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Langer’s tenure will be extended for a period of one year beyond October 3, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The approval was granted following a proposal from the Department of Health & Family Welfare.
