ACC approves these 3 appointments in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved the appointment of three bureaucrats as members of Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on Monday

New Delhi:  The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Ajay Jain, Vivek Johri and Sungita Sharma as members of Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on Monday. All the bureaucrats are the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. 

In a separate order issued on the same day, Shalini Pandey (IDES) has been selected for appointment as Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Apart from the above, Naval Kishore Ram (IAS) has also been selected to be appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). He has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders whichever is earlier.
