New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of several officers for Additional Secretary and equivalent post on Sunday. Here is the full list of newly appointed officers:
Rashmi Chowdhary (IRPS) has been appointed as Secretary of Central Information Commission under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) in the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
Sanjeev Kumar Chadha (IFoS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
Vumlunmang Vualnam (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs under the Ministry of Finance.
Ramesh Krishnamurthi (IRS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Labour & Employment.
Amit Agrawal (IAS) has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
Richa Sharma (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Food and Public Distribution under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.
LS Changsan (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
R Anand (IPoS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development.
Maninder Kaur Dwivedi (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The officer will also hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director of Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium.
Vipin Kumar (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education.
Sunil Kumar Barnwal (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education.
Shyam Jagannathan (IAS) has been appointed as Director General (Shipping) in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
Subodh Kumar Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Director General of National Testing Agency under the Ministry of Education in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading the post.
The ACC has also approved in-situ upgradation of the following officers to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India as a measure personal to them by temporarily upgrading the post held by them:
Sanjay Sethi (IAS) has been appointed as Chairman of Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Trust under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in the rank of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
Krishna Kumar Dwivedi (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
