New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of these three Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers on Tuesday.
1. The appointment of Satya Prakash Yadav (IFS) has been approved for the post of Additional Director General of Forest (Project Tiger) and Member Secretary (National Tiger Conservation Authority) under the Central Staffing Scheme of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Yadav is a 1989-batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer of Uttar Pradesh.
2. The appointment of Sisir Kumar Ratho (IFS) has been approved for the post of Additional Director General of Forest (Forest Conservation) under the Central Staffing Scheme of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Ratho is a 1987-batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer of Odisha. Currently, he is serving as Joint Secretary in the National Commission for Scheduled Tribe.
3. The Appointment of Soumitra Dasgupta (IFS) has been approved for the post of Additional Director General of Forest (Wildlife) under the Central Staffing Scheme of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Dasgupta is a 1989-batch Indian Forest Service Officer (IFS) of West Bengal. He is currently serving as Inspector General of Forests under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
