Aditi Singh (IAS) appointed as Director in Department of Rural Development

The Central Government has approved the appointment of Aditi Singh (IAS) as Director in the Department of Rural Development

New Delhi: Aditi Singh (IAS) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Rural Development. According to a notification issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Central Government has approved the appointment of Aditi Singh for the post on Tuesday.

She has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or untill further orders, whichever is earlier.

Singh is a 2009-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of 2009-batch. Presently she is posted in her home cadre. "She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in the Department of Rural Development," the notification further read.
