New Delhi: The Central government has approved the appointment of Ajay Yadav (IAS) as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya M Scindia. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post at the level of Director for a period up to December 12, 2022, ie, for the balance period of his five-year-long Central deputation tenure. Yadav will continue to hold the post on co-terminus basis with the minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier, said the DoPT.

Ajay Yadav is a 2005-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Bihar cadre.
