Ajit Kumar (IAS) gets six-month extension as CEO of MyGov

ACC has approved a six-month extension of the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MyGov, to Ajit Kumar (IAS)

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a six-month extension of the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), MyGov, to Ajit Kumar, IAS (KL:2006), Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on August 20, the extension will be effective from May 24, 2026, or until the appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

The approval was given on the proposal of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Ajit Kumar has been holding the additional charge of CEO, MyGov alongside his responsibilities as Joint Secretary in MeitY.
