New Delhi: Ajit Roy (IAS) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme. He is a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Roy was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs. He will serve in the post for a period of four years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
