Ambica Anand (ISS) appointed as Director in Ministry of Steel

Ambica Anand (ISS) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Ministry of Steel on Wednesday

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Ambica Anand, an officer of the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) of the 2009 batch, as Director in the Ministry of Steel, Delhi.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Anand was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation. She will serve in her new role under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The order further directed that she be relieved of her present responsibilities immediately to enable her to join the Ministry of Steel.
