New Delhi: Amol Madhukar Ket (IRS) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Pensions & Pensioners' Welfare. According to an order from the Department of Personnel (DoPT), he has been selected for the appointment under the central staffing scheme for a period of four years, with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until the further orders, whichever is earlier. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Pensions & Pensioners' Welfare," the order added.

Ket is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of the 2008-batch. He was recommended for the central deputation by the Department of Revenue.
