Amrit Agrahari (IRS) appointed as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office

The ACC has approved the appointment of Amrit Agrahari (IRS) officer of the 2011 batch, as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO)

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Amrit Agrahari, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of the 2011 batch, as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

According to the order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Agrahari, who is currently serving as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs under the Ministry of Finance, has been appointed to the PMO for the balance period of his central deputation tenure or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The appointment was made following the approval of the Prime Minister’s Office vide its communication dated October 27, 2025.
