Anurag Chandra (IRS) appointed as DS in Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals

Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Anurag Chandra (IRS) has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals

New Delhi: Anurag Chandra (IRS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals on Friday. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Chandra has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is place earlier.

Chandra is a 2014-batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department Chemicals & Petrochemicals,” the order further added.
