Apurva Dubey (IAS) appointed as Deputy Secretary in Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Apurva Dubey (IAS) as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation on Thursday.

Dubey is a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Presently, she is posted as Director at State Urban Development Authority (SUDA), Lucknow.

According to an order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued on July 16, Dubey has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of four years from the date of assuming charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The DoPT has directed the Uttar Pradesh government to relieve Dubey of her present responsibilities immediately to enable her to take up her new assignment in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of India, in New Delhi.
