Arvind Kumar (ISS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary (DS) in NITI Aayog (DEMO) on Friday

New Delhi: Arvind Kumar (ISS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in NITI Aayog (DEMO) on Friday. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Kumar has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO) is an attached office of NITI Aayog.

Kumar is an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer of 2015 batch. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in NITI Aayog (DMEO),” the DoPT order further added.
