Ashish Gundal (IRSME) appointed as Director in DoT

New Delhi: Ashish Gundal (IRSME) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) under the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. According to an order issued from the Personnel & Training (DoPT), Gundal has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.

Ashish Gundal is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) officer of 2008-batch. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Railways. "He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Telecommunications (DoT)," the order further read.
