New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Heavy Industries for the appointment of BN Krishnaiah (IAS) as Officer of Special Duty to the Minister for Heavy Industries & Steel HD Kumaraswamy in the Ministry of Heavy Industries at the level of Deputy Secretary.
Krishnaiah is a 2000 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer (retired) of Karnataka cadre.
According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Krishnaiah has been appointed to the post on contract basis for a period of 3 years, 3 months and 18 days with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or on co-terminus basis with the Minister or till he ceases to function as OSD to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
