Deepak Arjun (IAS) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari

New Delhi: Deepak Arjun (IAS) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH). The Central Government has approved his appointment on Thursday.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Arjun has been appointed to the post at the level of Deputy Secretary with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post and for the period up to August 31, 2026 (i.e. for the balance period of his four years of central deputation tenure) or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Arjun is a 2012-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of AGMUT cadre.
