Dharmendra Kumar Singh gets tenure extension in Department of Defence

As per the order, Singh’s deputation has been extended beyond September 30, 2025, till March 31, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Defence for the extension of the central deputation tenure of Dharmendra Kumar Singh, an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), 2000 batch, who is currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence.

As per the order, Singh’s deputation has been extended beyond September 30, 2025, till March 31, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The extension ensures continuity in the leadership and functioning of the Department of Defence, where Singh has been serving in a key administrative capacity.
