New Delhi: Prateek Kumar Mishra (IRS) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of Justice under the Ministry of Law and Justice. He is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 2011-batch.

As per an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Mishra has been appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

He was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. The order directed that he be relieved of his current responsibilities to join his new assignment in New Delhi.
