New Delhi: Jitendra Khare (ITS), who is currently serving as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has been given the additional charge as CVO of Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). The government has approved the proposal for the assignment of additional charge on Tuesday.

Khare has been serving as CVO of EPFO since April 2019. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post for a period of three months from the date of assumption of charge of the post or till the appointment of a regular CVO or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Khare is an Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) officer of 1994-batch.
