New Delhi: The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Fating Rahul Haridas (IAS) as Private Secretary to Rajiv Ranjan Singh in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.

According to an official order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Haridas, an IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre (2012 batch), will hold the additional responsibility alongside his current assignment as Private Secretary to the Minister in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
The appointment will come into effect from the date he assumes charge of the post and will remain valid till April 19, 2031, or on a co-terminus basis with the Minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The approval was granted following a proposal received from the Ministry of Panchayati Raj through an Office Memorandum dated May 5, 2026.
