Govt appoints Zuber Mohd (IOFS) as Deputy Secretary in Olympics Division, Department of Sports

Zuber Mohd (IOFS) has been selected for the appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Olympics Division under the Department of Sports

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared the appointment of Zuber Mohd, IOFS (2014), as Deputy Secretary in the Olympics Division under the Department of Sports.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Mohd has been appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of two years from the date of assumption of charge of the post. The tenure is further extendable as per the admissible limits under the scheme or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

He was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Defence Production. The order instructed that he be relieved of his present responsibilities to take up the new assignment in New Delhi.
